Earth Trust has asked the Parish Council to make residents aware of some art related events coming up over the next few weeks.
As part of Oxfordshire Artweeks, the trust is bringing together an exciting range of local artists in its pop up gallery, a beautiful converted 19th Century barn. From ceramics, acrylics and oils, to sustainable fashion and upcycled jewellery, eight creatives will be sharing a selection of their work and talking to visitors about the techniques they use, and the eco themes that inspire them.
This takes place from Sunday 19th to Monday 27th May (excluding Saturday 25th May). More details here.
On Wednesday 29th May and Saturday 6th July, the trust’s Artist in Residence Nicola Fielding will be inviting people to join her to ‘play with clay’ at her Clay Art Workshops, using natural clay that has been foraged from around Earth Trust Centre to create truly unique artwork.
